Javascript .replace() function only replacing the first occurrence

Today I had a complete brain fart while working with javascript. What I was trying to accomplished was a simple character replace. Assuming I was using the .replace() function correctly I've continued pounding out code. On completion of the module I was working on the system puked. Since the task was fairly simple I did not run the code regularly as I would normally. So when the system puked I didn't know where to start.

Everyone should be a hacker sometimes

I'm one that enjoys a good life hack from time to time. Life hacks can potentially give guidance to improve problem areas within your life. They also are great for triggering self reflection.

After I've read a good hack it normally bounces around my head for a few days. Depending on the hack I find myself evaluating my life, people and goals from both a personal and professional perspective.
